When you think of the holidays that are coming up, are some of your first and/or your dominant feelings of…
~Dreadful family time either with your parents or with your in-laws
~Spending a lot of money you don’t have on gifts
~Going to church or synagogue after not going for about a year
~(For those of us in northern hemispheres it is about…) Slick driving in snow
~Trying to figure out with whom you will spend New Year’s Eve
~Generating less business during the holidays
~Less time
~Huge line ups for shopping
~Frightful weather?
Holidays are often a very emotional time. This is not new to anyone. Some of the lows are listed above and I am sure you could create your very own list of CRAP experiences during the holidays. 😉
On the other hand, there are also many positive aspects to the holidays. For students, school is out, for close families, you have more family time, you get some recharging time, many people travel during the holidays to warmer or more exotic locations. And we could go on and on about the positive side to the holidays.
The key to creating abundance and love throughout the holidays, regardless of positives or negatives, is how at peace you are with either positive or negative taking place.
You are an incredible creator! This means YOU actually get to choose what your experience will be like. As a result you are the one who will choose how you will feel when it comes.
To help you for the holidays and to transform previous chaos and challenge during the holidays to holiday light and bliss take some time to answer the following three questions…
Three Questions That You Need to Ask Yourself to Create Abundance and Love Through the Holidays:
1. What are my greatest holiday challenges each year (or what was my greatest holiday challenge last year)?
2. What would be my ideal holiday experience this year?
3. What is one action I can take today that will help me to create and manifest my ideal holiday experience this year?
As the centre of your life and the creator of your world and reality, you get to choose what you will make of it. Now is the time to begin setting your pure and positive intent for the holidays. It is now also time to start doing things differently than how you have done them in the past if the result that you experienced in the past was not what you desired.
Keep these quotes near during the holidays…
“Our life is what our thoughts make it. A man will find that as he alters his thoughts toward things and other people, things and other people will alter towards him.” -James Allen
“Anything is possible, the impossible just takes longer.” -Anonymous
With all of this said, may you have a rich holiday season with an abundance of love, joy and prosperity.
Warmly,
Joshua
